Seven Seas Licenses Sakurai-san Wants to Be Noticed Manga, I Will Forget This Feeling Someday Novel
Also: Kuroimori's Steam Reverie in Amber artbook slated for next July

Seven Seas announced on Wednesday that it has licensed the Sakurai-san Wants to Be Noticed manga and I Will Forget This Feeling Someday light novel. It will also release the Steam Reverie in Amber book.

Seven Seas will release the first volume of Sora Akino's Sakurai-san Wants to Be Noticed (Sakurai-san wa Kizuite Hoshii) manga physically and digitally in July 2022.

The company describes the manga:

Makoto is a laidback teen who just wants to keep his head down and get through high school. His busty best friend Sakurai, however, is constantly pulling him into one shenanigan after another! Not only that, but she's always teasing him in provocative ways. Sure, Makoto's noticed that his friend has gotten super flirty, but that doesn't mean she “likes” him, right? Right?

The manga debuted in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in October 2019. The manga's third compiled book volume shipped in Japan on August 27.

Seven Seas will release Yoru Sumino's I Will Forget This Feeling Someday (Kono Kimochi mo Itsuka Wasureru) light novel physically in June 2022, with an early digital release.

The company describes the story:

Kaya lives an ordinary, boring life. Yet when a burst of dazzling light appears at a bus stop, showing a vision of a girl from another world, everything changes. Through meetings in the dead of night, Kaya and the mysterious girl strive to figure out the points of connection between their dimensions–and maybe, in the process, fall in love. This moving tale is the newest novel by the Eisner-nominated author of I Want to Eat Your Pancreas and I Had That Same Dream Again!

The light novel launched in Japan in October 2020.

Sumino's I Want to Eat Your Pancreas (Kimi no Suizō o Tabetai) novel inspired a live-action film that premiered in Japan in July 2017. The novel inspired an anime film that opened in Japan in September 2018. Aniplex and Fathom Events screened the film in the United States in February with both English subtitles and an English dub.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the I Want to Eat Your Pancreas novel and manga. The novel debuted in English last November, while the first volume of the manga, drawn by Idumi Kirihara, debuted in English in January 2019. Seven Seas also licensed Sumino's At Night, I Become a Monster novel, as well as his I Had That Same Dream Again novel, and the manga adaptation also by Kirihara.

Kuroimori's Steam Reverie in Amber is an artbook and manga collection. Seven Seas will release the artbook in a large-trim hardcover edition in July 2022.

The company describes the book:

A world between the past and the future. An airship that can only be seen by people whose hearts are hurting. A bookstore that soars between the clouds. Immerse yourself in a gorgeously illustrated art and story collection set in a magical world that includes steampunk zodiac girls, steampunk tarot card illustrations, and more!

Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha, Ltd. released the artbook in Japan on January 29 earlier this year.
