The Kessoku Band Live: Kousei event announced a compilation movie for the Bocchi the Rock! anime series on Sunday, revealing a key visual (pictured) and an announcement promo. The movie will open in theaters in Japan in Spring 2024. The television anime produced by CloverWorks aired in 12 episodes in Fall 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the anime with subtitles. Bocchi the Rock! adapts Aki Hamaji's 4-koma music comedy manga, which began serializing in Manga Time Kirara MAX in December 2017. Houbunsha shipped the fifth volume on November 26 last year. Bocchi the Rock! has a cumulative 2 million copies of its volumes in print, including the anthology. Yen Press licensed the manga in English in April 2023. The first volume is planned for an October 17 release.
