Alternative rock band amazarashi (Boku no Hero Academia 2nd Season) is performing the opening theme "Kyoukaisen," which is previewed in the promotional video below. J-rock band Regal Lily will perform the ending theme "Alchemilla."
Toshimasa Ishii (Boku dake ga Inai Machi assistant director) returns to helm the second cours at A-1 Pictures, with Toshiya Oono (Yakusoku no Neverland) handling the series composition. Tetsuya Kawakami (Gakusen Toshi Asterisk) is designing the characters. Kohta Yamamoto (Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season) and Hiroyuki Sawano (Aldnoah.Zero) are composing the music.
Asato began publishing the light novel under the Dengeki Bunko imprint in February 2017, featuring illustrations by Shirabi and mechanical designs by I-IV (Re:Creators). Kadokawa shipped the tenth volume on June 10.
